Alexis is a licensed professional counselor and certified school counselor. Life is full of ups, downs, and transitions - she is here to help guide and encourage her clients with empathy and compassion through the highs and lows giving them the skills to thrive.
Alexis has 7 years experience in special education and has been a school counselor since 2021 obtaining her LPC (licensed professional counselor) in 2023. She uses solution-focused therapy as well as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) with a trauma-informed approach to help clients flourish.

On a personal note…
Alexis’ journey to counseling was not linear by any means. She received her bachelor’s in Dance with the plan to perform but was injured her junior year of college. She had always wanted to return to school for counseling at a later time but it ended up happening sooner than she originally anticipated. It was the best thing to ever happen as she quickly realized her true passion is helping others through their toughest times and transitions.
why counseling?
Alexis’ own personal story with mental health and the way it affected those around her and her loved ones inspired her to pursue counseling to help those face the challenges within themselves. She truly believes that her experiences gave her the understanding, compassion, and drive to truly serve and help others. Counseling is difficult but the journey and reward of facing and working through the obstacles you face far exceeds the work. Coming out on the other side of whatever you are facing is such a beautiful and rewarding thing to be present in and reflect on.
